Dalton Clutch Kit 16-18 Can-Am Outlander/Renegade 1000R
Stock and oversized tires (up to and including 28”) This one clutch tuning package can optimize CVT clutch calibration for different tires and terrains. Improved performance and clutch response. Proper clutch set up for your situation improves belt life. The 2016-2018 is a 1000R model that sees new HP and different factory clutch components. This kit was designed to work with this model. New adjustable flyweight lever arms have a different profile than earlier versions, and were developed specific to this model. Tuning instructions for different applications are included in the “ Set up guide” in the instructions.Additional notes:
There are notes included in the set up guide of this kit to add an optional Secondary spring () if you ever change to 29.5” and larger tires. The kit instructions have details of how to set up the flyweights when using that optional spring with those tires. If you already have 29.5” or larger tires on a regular Outlander or Renegade XXC 1000, order the DBO 1000M-16 clutch kit that includes the optional secondary spring. -The stock factory BRP belt is the best for this vehicle.
